Recycling

Prior to removal waste materials are always considered for other means of  preferential utilization – preferably its ability to by recycled. Purum Ltd. specifically operates a recycling line to process oil filters. This shredding and separating line was constructed in the CZ. Oil filters are now 100% recycled.
The recycling line is composed of a mechanical oil filters parting unit, its centrifuging and separation of its components. This control unit coordinates subsequence of each operation. Capacity is 2300 t/year, so 2000 tons of usable waste does not end unused in landfills.
Recycling technology operates also for fouled metal wrapping and discarded metal devices. The main type of processed waste are metal oil filters for cars and trucks, discarded metal wrappings of oils, paints and varnishes. Among them are contaminated metal barrels, oil condensers without PCB, and other metal or steel discarded devices with oil filling.
Its manufacturing procedure consists of scrapping, shredding of metal components, magnetic separation, separation of un-workable remaining fabrics, filtration materials, etc. Workable waste is squeezed and used in ironworks and smelting house.
Recycling within remediation projects mean shredding of inert material on mobile shredders. In the case of a higher concentration of polluting components, shredding is used prior to biodegradation.  Shredding is common precondition to microbial-degradation process.
