Dumping
Despite all efforts to prevent and recycle waste, dumping is still the most popular waste disposal method in EU - especially with municipal and less with dangerous waste. The tendency in waste disposal in the EU is to eliminate dumping and to encourage material and energetic utilization. Purum Ltd. provides disposal of authorized waste in sanitary land fills throughout CZ. Solidification/stabilization is ensured when needed prior to its dumping. Purum Ltd., provides dumping to landfills for dangerous and other waste or if the quality parameters permit on stamping ground. Dumping is highly used for waste originated when remediations of ecological loads are done, relating with demolition and extraction works.
Biodegradation
It is biological procedure that decomposes organic pollutants from solid materials (soil, building rubbish, sediments with higher volume of dry mass) on special biodegradation sites at aerobic conditions, usually prior to dumping. Biodegradation is conducted when waste does not comply with quality parameters in organic carbon. This technology uses decomposing activities of bacteria and has no negative effect on environment. There is no subsidiary waste. Material is afterwards used for recultivation of landscape, terrain modifications etc.
