November 11th 2009 Civil association “Give a chance” charity ball
Civil association “Give a chance organized enjoyable event for kids named “Big ball for small princesses and princes” on Sunday November 1th 2009 in cultural centre of Horovice. Primary objective of this association is to support talented kids from children´s home´s and to set up possibilities to present their skills. Earned funds gained from sponsors and entrance fees will be used for future activities of this association. Company Purum Ltd. was a proud partner of this event. October 19th 2009 Article on Municipal waste
October volume of “Waste” periodical came up with appealing article about city position in field of waste handling and with other potentials for improvement. This article is written in view of author´s experience as a ČIŽP controller of cities as municipal waste originator´s. With regard to frequent mistakes, author recapitulates cities most important duties. Article is connected with “Ekoden” event in Old town (see the article below on September 17th) which was organized to educate people in waste separation. The article can be found here.

October 10th 2009 EVRIRO MANAGEMENT Conference
Purum Ltd and Purum SK Ltd. employees joined in international expert conference “Waste evaluation, land filling and old environmental loads”. Conference was held on October 6th - 7th 2009 on Štrbské Pleso. Lectures with subject of energetic use of waste (especially lectures of Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Hyžík, Ph.D.; Ing. Alois Studenice; Ing. Pavel Bartoš) were found as the most interesting ones. Photos from the Conference can be found here.

Management of Purum Ltd organized weekend event for company employees on October 2nd - 4th 2009. This event was held in Srbsko in pleasant environment of Český Ráj. Various team games, bike trip and evening barbecue were on. Further information and photos are in Activity section.

Ocober 2nd 2009 “Municipal waters 2009” conference and exposition
Purum Ltd. company participated on “Municipal waters 2009” conference and exposition, held on October 1st - 2nd 2009 in Velké Bílovice. Conference and exhibition was set on optimization of design and operation of sewer network and sewage clarification plant. Further information can be found on http://mestskevody.ardec.cz/index.asp . Our company joined the conference also as an exhibitor. Photo of our boot is here. Earned information where evaluated very positively. We thank to all participants who displayed interest in our services and technical equipment.

Public event named EKODEN were Purum Ltd was primary sponsor was held on Saturday September 5th 2009 on premises of KOVOSTEEL in Old town. Generous program as is (show of Svatý pluk, girl band Golden Storm, Bob the Builder, number of competition, display of fire-fighting etc.) was provided for general public at the time between 13 to 19 o´clock. Thanks to individual boots of eco companies, which were located throughout all areal, visitors could learn a lot of information about environment and its protection. Project name: produce optimization and use of waste heat r.no. 3.1.EEDUEO/073
Company Purum Ltd. practices continuous modernization and development of its infrastructure, always considering lowest impact for the environment. The reconstruction of technology at the incineration plant in Kolin is now in progress. Better use of waste heat will be accomplished, expected energy savings will be 30 thousand GJ/year.

January 5th 2009 Grant gain from program OPPA
“Prague & EU: Investing into your future”Projects name: Improvement of profession adaptability of Purum Ltd. employees. R.no. CZ.2.17/1.1.00/31553
Appeal for grant for profession advancement and education was hand in on basis of company management´s intention to improve employee´s qualification. This appeal was held in within invitation to appeal for financing from European funds.
Main objective of this project is to back up complex advancement of employees through education in soft skills, completion and improvement of expert qualification.
Target group of this project are employees of company Purum Ltd. from top management, mid management, economic and commercial department.
Educational activities for above named professions will be provided within this project. These are specialized to manager skills, business skills, systems of quality and environment management (ISO 9000. 14000), teamwork, English language, working with ICT, environment protection, economics and finance, marketing and buying skills.
Project is cofinanced by European social fund and Prague city.
